TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following terms cover transactions between gilmor.co.uk and the Buyer.
Ordering:
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our products and click on any item you wish to buy and put them in your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on checkout and fill in payment and delivery details. We can also take your order and payment by telephone if you prefer.
Prices:
Prices are liable to change without prior notice. All prices exclude VAT and carriage.
Payment:
Payment is due in full before goods are dispatched. If for any reason payment does not clear, the goods remain the property of the seller until paid for in full. Any additional costs in recovering the property will be charged to the Buyer.
Delivery:
We always try to send out orders within 1-2 working days but usually goods are dispatched within 24 hours.
If an item is out of stock or unavailable we will always let you know. Standard delivery and packaging charges are £6.25 plus VAT for most parts of the U.K. An extra charge may be required for heavy orders. Delivery is usually by Parcel Force or any other delivery system of our choice. Please note we do not deliver to PO Box numbers. Please note we do not deliver outside of the UK.
Returns:
Goods must be returned within seven days of receipt unused, in perfect condition and in original packaging. Carriage of replacement items may be at buyers cost. Due to strict hygiene regulations the Seller cannot accept return of scissors, clippers, razors and any other items that have been used or other items returned in an unacceptable condition, except if the goods are faulty. Goods returned which have been damaged due to poor packaging by the Buyer will not be credited in full. Your Statutory Rights are not affected. Also note all Balmain goods are non refundable.
Shortages & Damages:
Goods must be inspected on receipt and all claims for shortages or damages must be made by the Buyer to the Seller within 24 hours of receipt of the goods and confirmed via e-mail within 24 hours.
Cancellation:
Cancellation of goods after dispatch cannot be accepted. Goods that have been refused by the Buyer when delivery has been attempted will be subject to a handling charge of the carriage costs plus 25% in addition to any other remedies open to the Seller.
Guarantee:
All items are guaranteed according to the manufacturers warranty conditions.
Privacy:
We make a commitment to protect your privacy and promise only to use information collected about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and the European Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications (2002/58/EC) and other laws and regulations that may come into force from time to time. We will not pass your information on to any third party.
Accuracy:
Whilst every effort has been made to check the accuracy of the information contained within this site, Gilmor Hair & Beauty does not warrant the accuracy of the information contained herein. Further, Gilmor Hair & Beauty will not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the information and material contained within this website or any other site which the user may access through this website.
